Dr. John Christopher, renowned herbalist, believed that much of what we call disease is simply the body’s own way of dealing with imbalances and deficiencies.  If this is true (which I believe it is), it’s no wonder we’re seeing disease in epidemic proportions!  Our standard American diet, and the heinous contamination of the somewhat “healthy” foods we do have, leaves the body desperately craving good, wholesome nutrition.

That’s where herbs come in.  Herbs are considered whole food for the body.  Food that not only provides essential vitamins and minerals, but also offers amazing healing properties.  I am a firm believer that when we give the body the proper (natural) tools it needs, it can heal itself.

There are many ways we can take advantage of these amazing, health-giving tools- which is one of the reasons why I love using herbs- there are so many ways to incorporate them into your diet and every day life.
